Ingredients

  • Oil (2-3 tbsp)
  • Bay Leaves (1)
  • Cardamom (2)
  • Clove (2)
  • Fennel Seed (1 tsp)
  • Curry Leaves (5-8 pieces)
  • Onions (2 big)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste (1 tbsp)
  • Tomatoes (1 big)
  • Green/ Red Chili (2 pieces)
  • Turmeric Powder (1 tbsp)
  • Chili Powder (2 tbsp)
  • Coriander Powder (3 tbsp)
  • Chicken (half a chicken pieces)
  • Nestlé Everyday® Milk (1 cup)
  • Salt (for taste)

Directions

  1. In oil, lightly fry add Bay Leaves, Cardamom and Cloves.
  2. Once slightly fried, add fennel seed, curry leaves & green or red chilies.
  3. Add in blended onion (1 1/2 Onion) and mix well. Once slightly cooked, add ginger and garlic paste.
  4. Then add blended tomato (1/2 tomato) and cook well.
  5. Then add sliced onions (1/2 onion) & sliced tomatoes (1/2 tomatoes) and stir fry well. This remaining balance onions & tomatoes give texture to the curry.
  6. Once thoroughly cooked, add Turmeric Powder, Chili Powder and Coriander Powder and stir well till raw smell is gone.
  7. Add salt for taste.
  8. Add chicken and cook well.
  9. Check for saltiness once more and add if needed.
  10. Finally add Nestlé Everyday® Milk according to preference and thickness of curry.
  11. Let it simmer for another couple of minutes and it’s done.
  12. Garnish with coriander at the end.
