100ml EVERYDAY milk (80ml water + 20g EVERYDAY milk powder)
6 tbsp MILO® (30g) + 4 tbsp hot water (mixed well)
Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Then add in eggs, one at a time. Beat for 1 minute then pour in vanilla essence.
Sift in plain flour, baking powder and the EVERYDAY milk powder. Use a spatula and fold until well mixed.
Pour in the EVERYDAY milk and continue to stir until smooth. Divide batter into 2 portions. Add MILO® mixture into one portion and mix well.
Spread one layer of milk batter at the base of the 7-7.5” square lined cake tin and continue with another layer of MILO® batter. Repeat these layers in alternating manner until completed. On the last layer, drop small spots of the batter without MILO® and run a clean skewer through the batter to create a marble effect.
Bake in an air fryer at 170°’C for 20-25 minutes or until cooked.
