Ingredients

  • 1 Golden Pomfret fish, cleaned
  • 1/2 teaspoon MAGGI CukupRasa
  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 10 shallots, finely grounded
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely grounded
  • 2 red chillies, finely grounded
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, finely grounded
  • 1 inch galangal, finely grounded
  • 1 inch ginger, finely grounded
  • 3 candlenuts, finely grounded
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 packet MAGGI Sambal Tumis 30g
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons EVERYDAY Milk Powder
  • 2 tamarind slice
  • 2 leaves kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 leaves tumeric leaves, sliced
  • 3/4 tablespoons MAGGI Cukuprasa
  • 1 tomato, cut into quaters

Decoration ingredients:

  • 1 stalk spring onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fried shallots

Directions

  1. Rub the Pomfret fish with 1 teaspoon of MAGGI CukupRasa. Heat cooking oil, fry the Pomfret fish
  2. Remove excess oil, add shallots, garlic, red chili, lemongrass, galangal, ginger and candlenuts that have been finely grounded with water.
  3. Add MAGGI Sambal Tumis. Simmer until dry.
  4. Mix Everyday Milk Power with water. Add the mixture into the wok.
  5. Add tamarind slice, kaffir lime leaves and tumeric leaves. Simmer for a while.
  6. Add MAGGI CukupRasa and tomato. Mix well. Then add fish and simmer until well cooked.
  7. Serve on a plate and decorate with spring onion and fried shallots.
