Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Nestlé EVERYDAY Milk Powder + ¼ cup hot water
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 dry chillies
  • 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1 stalk curry leaves
  • 2 cups of cooked basmati rice
  • 1 ½ cups yoghurt
  • salt

Directions

  1. In a pan, add ghee and temper the mustard seeds until fragrant.
  2. Next, add onion, dry chillies, green chilli and curry leaves.
  3. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, turn off the heat and set aside.
  4. Serve the cooked basmati rice in a bowl.
  5. Pour the Nestlé EVERYDAY Milk and yoghurt on the rice. Add salt and mix until well combined.
  6. Top it off with the tempered ingredients and mix well.
  7. Lastly, garnish with coriander leaves and serve curd rice with your choice of vegetables and meat/fish/chicken on a banana leaf and enjoy.
