Ingredients

A

  • 1 slice Pomelo, (flesh), sacs separated
  • 100g Cucumber, (seeds removed), finely julienned or grated
  • 1/2 piece Capsicum (red), shredded (optional)
  • 1/2 piece Capsicum (green), shredded (optional)
  • 50g Spring onion, shredded
  • 4 pieces Chinese green lettuce leaves, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger, (pickled), shredded
  • 1 piece(medium) Carrot, finely grated or shredded (medium) into long thin strips
  • 1/2 piece (medium) White radish, finely grated or shredded into (medium) long thin strips
  • 1/2 piece Lime, wedged
  • 3 - 4 stalks Coriander, leaves only
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 100g Salmon, sashimi, sliced thinly
  • 1 packet MAGGI 2-Minute Noodles Asam Laksa, blanched and mixed with oil/sauces from the packet

  • 2 tablespoons Fine granulated sugar, or honey
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Plum sauce
  • 1 teaspoon MAGGI® Cukup Rasa
  • 1 sachet MAGGI 2-Minute Noodles Asam Laksa, (seasoning)

C

  • 1 teaspoon White sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons Roasted peanut, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon 5 spice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper
  • 30g NESTLÉ CORN FLAKES
  • 1 sachet MAGGI 2-Minute Noodles Asam Laksa, (Fried onions)

Directions

  1. Mix the sauce ingredients (B) in a small bowl.
  2. Place a mountain pile of finely shredded carrot and white radish in the middle of a big, round serving plate. Arrange pomelo, tangerine and the remaining shredded/grated ingredients attractively (different colours) around the center pile.
  3. Arrange salmon sashimi on a small round plate. Top with some shredded spring onion and coriander leaves. Squeeze lime juice over the sashimi.
  4. To serve, pour sesame oil and the sauce over the arranged ingredients. Sprinkle on five-spice powder, sesame seeds, peanuts and NESTLÉ® Corn Flakes. Add in sashimi slices
  5. Toss the Yee Sang using chopsticks, as high as possible while saying ‘prosperity greetings’ out loud to wish everyone for the year.
