Ingredients

  • 100g Salmon sashimi, sliced thinly
  • 1 medium Green or Japanese pear, grated
  • 1 medium Green apple, grated
  • 50g Pineapple, strips
  • 3 pcs Jackfruit, strips ;
  • 1 medium Mango, strips
  • 1 medium Carrot, grated
  • 1/2 medium White radish, grated
  • 4 pcs Chinese lettuce, shredded
  • 1 small Red capsicum, strips
  • 1 slice Pomelo flesh
  • 4 Mandarin tangerines, broken up in smaller pieces
  • 50g Spring onion, shredded
  • 4 stalks Coriander leaves
  • 3 tablespoons Pickled ginger, shredded
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
  • 1/2 Lime, cut into wedges

Sauce(Mix Well)

  • 2 tablespoons NESTLÉ® Natural Set Yogurt, whisked
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Plum sauce
  • *To taste MAGGI® CUKUPRASA™

To sprinkle

  • 30g NESTLÉ® Gold Cornflakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon 5 spice powder
  • 3 tablespoons Roasted peanuts,crushed
  • 2 teaspoons Toasted white sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Place a mountain pile of finely shredded carrot and white radish in the middle of a big, round serving plate. Arrange pomelo, tangerine and the remaining shredded/grated ingredients attractively (different colours) around the centre pile.
  3. Arrange salmon sashimi on a small round plate. Top with some shredded spring onion and coriander leaves. Squeeze lime juice over the sashimi.
  4. To serve, pour sesame oil and the sauce over the arranged ingredients. Sprinkle on five-spice powder, sesame seeds, peanuts and NESTLÉ® Gold Cornflakes. Add in sashimi slices.
  5. Toss the Yee Sang using chopsticks, as high as possible while saying ‘prosperity greetings’ out loud to wish everyone for the year.
