Chinese New Year wouldn’t be complete without Yee Sang. Usher in the new year with NESTUM Golden Prosperity Yee Sang!

Ingredients – Vegetables / Fruits.

  • 100g Carrot
  • 100g Turnip
  • 100g Cucumber
  • 100g Pomelo
  • 4pcs Lettuce
  • 2 small red apple
  • 4 stalks Coriander leaves
  • 30g Pickled ginger
  • 50g Purple cabbage
  • 50g Cherry tomatoes
  • 3 - 4 stalks Coriander, leaves only
  • 100g Salmon
  • Suggestions: The vegetables and fruits can be julienned to boost volume and appearance of the dish!

NESTUM Cluster

  • 30g NESTUM
  • 2/3 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame seeds
  • 20g Finely chopped peanuts
  • 20g Finely chopped almonds
  • 1.5 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Pear Dressing

  • 250g Snow Pear
  • 100ml Water
  • 20g Red Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Cider vinegar
  • 1 large Lime, zested
  • 2-3 drops Sesame oil

  1. Mix and blend pear, onion, water until fine than pour into a small bowl and mix in the rest of the ingredients (C). Adjust soy sauce to taste.
  2. Mix and bake all ingredients (B) for Nestum cluster at 160(o)c for 15 – 20 minutes.
  3. Place a mountain pile of ingredients (A) - finely shredded vegetables/ fruits in the middle of a big, round serving plate.
  4. Arrange salmon sashimi on a small plate, top it with some shredded coriander leaves and squeeze some lime juice over the sashimi.
  5. To serve, pour the pear dress over the arranged ingredients, then add in the salmon sashimi and NESTUM cluster.
  6. Toss the Yee Sang using chopsticks, as high as possible while saying ‘prosperity greetings’ out loud to wish everyone for the year.
