KITKAT Pineapple Tart Cookies

Nutrition Information per serving
250 gm All purpose flour
200g Chilled butter (In cubes)
1 tsp Salt
16 fingers KitKat (Chopped)
100grams Pineapple paste/ jam
Egg wash (1 egg yolk mixed with 1 tbsp water)
Sift flour into a mixing bowl. Add the butter and mix until a breadcrumbs-like consistency.
Add in 1 egg into the mixture and mix until well combined.
Add chopped KitKat and mix the dough evenly.
Flatten the dough and chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, roll the pineapple paste/ jam into balls (about 3g each)
Cut the dough with a cookie cutter and place it on a greased baking tray.
Brush egg wash over the tarts and place the pineapple paste ball on top of each tart.
Bake the tarts for 170ºC for 12-15 minutes.
Let it cool completely and ready to serve.
