Ingredients

  • 200g whole almonds (toasted)
  • 150g butter (room temperature)
  • 250g plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 7 tbsp Everyday milk powder
  • 60g Nestum All Family Cereal Original
  • 40g icing sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 250g chocolate couverture or buttons
  • 20g Nestum All Family Cereal Original (topping)

Directions

  1. Cream butter and icing sugar till fluffy. Add in egg yolk and beat for 1 minute.
  2. Sift the flour, milk powder and baking powder into the butter & sugar mixture.
  3. Slowly fold in then add Nestum. Form into a pliable dough. Set aside and let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Take 6-7g of dough and wrap the almond. Set aside and continue for the rest.
  5. Bake in preheated oven at 170°C for 15-20 minutes. Remove and let cool.
  6. Melt chocolate in a microwave for 1 minute till smoothly melted.
  7. Place the cookie into a mini cupcake case. Add a spoon of melted chocolate over the cookie. Sprinkle Nestum on top.
  8. Repeat for the rest. Refrigerate to harden chocolate and store in an airtight container.
